Gator MMA

Gator MMA is a Mixed Martial Arts gym that focuses on the development of its students both physically and mentally in preparation for tournaments and everyday life. We train in a variety of arts including but not limited to Muay Thai, Wrestling, Grappling, Full Contact Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

We are very active in tournaments across the state and attend monthly. Our tournament record percentage is one of the best in FL with each BJJ tournament attended at least half of our competitors have placed 1st and at least 80% have placed in the top two spots.  

We have a No Bad Attitude No Bad Ego policy that starts with the instructors. We do not yell and are not a drill instructor-style school. We believe in positive attitudes and repetition that will help our students learn the best they can. We feel discipline is accomplished by maintaining self-control and being consistent at all times. We will always teach with a positive approach which we feel helps our students when dealing with day to day problems.

We want to make a difference in our community and we strive each and every day to do so. We have a food pantry supplied to us by Shine the Light Ministries allowing us to reach any family that we know in need along with shoes for the kids. We are also a no-turn away gym based on a person’s inability to pay. We must remember to be the difference we want to see in the world,  and we hope to be at least a small part of that difference.
